Whether you're a hiker, biker, or casual explorer, we look forward to welcoming you to our corner of the mountains here in Western North Carolina. Come relax in the hot tub, nap by the creek, hike the many scenic trails, or simply cozy up with a cup of complimentary coffee by the campfire. However you define adventure, we welcome it!

Welcome to our world. When we welcome guests, we welcome them to more than just a place to sleep. We welcome guests into the incredible world of the Appalachian Mountain Bliss of Western North Carolina. We'll share our favorite hikes, spots for photos, best driving and riding routes, and even a few AT through hiker tips we've picked up over the years.

I wanted to relax in the Smoky Mountains, but with modern comforts. I did that and more at Cynthia and Jeff's place. Everything was meticulously clean and organized. And they proved repeatedly they are accommodating. I asked for a fire, and they made one and set out chairs for my girlfriend and me. They anticipated comforts I didn't know I wanted. The property is incredible, teeming with life, surrounded with beauty, and echoing the sounds of a creek and happy dogs. And even though I stayed only one night, it felt like I'd vacationed a week or more. This is a wonderful spot and one I can highly recommend.

Cynthia and Jeff go above and beyond to provide outstanding hospitality--they are kind, interesting, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The creek runs right by their house; the constant sound of flowing water is supremely peaceful. Jeff+Cynthia recommended an excellent dinner spot, and Jeff had a big fire waiting for us upon our return. Large, marvelous spread for breakfast in the morning. I would recommend to anyone traveling in the Smokies. Brava!

Although we had planned hiking, epic rainfall changed our plans but this property was great and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Thru hikers on the Appalachian Trail were there to get out of the rain and made it feel more homey. We stayed in the master suite and could interact or have privacy. Breakfast was everything we could want. Beautiful mountain setting combined with warm comfortable home almost made us forget the rain.
